The Miqat Stop at Dhul Hulayfah
Your driver stops at Dhul Hulayfah, the miqat for pilgrims travelling from Madinah to Makkah. The mosque there is also called Masjid Dhul Hulayfah, Masjid al-Shajarah or Abyar Ali.
The mosque sits on the edge of Madinah, a short drive from Masjid an-Nabawi, so the stop comes at the start of your journey. It has washrooms and space to change, so families can enter ihram, pray and make their intention before the long drive.
Your driver waits for as long as you need. Most families take about 30 to 45 minutes.
